Why did we add subtasks?

In an ideal world, projects have all their tasks clearly defined and mapped out ahead of time. What we have found is that as a todo is worked, and commented on by more than one person, there tends to be scope creep. Round these corners, change the text to this, make the hover text x color. Your clients and maybe even your team try to cheat by slipping these in as comments instead of creating a new todo.

10 comments in, it starts getting hard to track all the little tweaks that have been requested and if they have been actioned. By offering subtasks as single line action items, you track all the changes that get made. They are quick to add to a todo, and quick to mark complete.
